Your Lies

Gazing at the sky,
Touching the scars,
Remembering the pain you caused I start to cry,
Over my heart I have now put bars.

You told me you cared,
Of course I believed you,
Never had I felt so scared,
The hatred I feel for you is true.

You told me you cared,
But now I see through your lies,
And now it is you who is scared,
For you know I will be your demise.

Patiently awaiting the day I can return the favor,
That is a moment that I will surely savor.
