Your Letter Jacket

I shiver, and you rescue me You save me from the Cold You can tell I'm freezing, so you Dress me up yourself In the jacket with your name engraved You wrap me up in leather Sleeves The ice melts from my body and I'm no Longer winter's flower With you, my spring is pollen-free We skip all of April's Showers You take me straight into A cloudless May Where the cold can never follow Our world is ripe Eternally Each day each thing grows new You build for me a pretty paradise, and I Can't get enough You feed me honey from the honeycomb You give me all the sweetest Stuff I lap it up just like it's water, so voracious And so greedy We take walks through lively gardens; And I wear my best sundress I soak up your sun and hold your hand I still wear your letter jacket You kiss away my goose bumps, and You chase away my fears And I Loved resting my head on your lap as Your parents drove me home I know That I'm in love with you every time I Hear your name You tell me with your words, and You tell me with Your eyes But nothing says, "I love you" more than Your letter jacket
