yearning for the soft touches of your lips brushing against mine under the lambency of this moon reigning down on me this evening kaleidoscope of january splashes iridescence that reflects back shimmers of starry eyed beams secretly awakening the scope of dreams enticing me to delectably crave sweet kisses from your lips

There is so much going on in this poem. I am amazed by the words put together in this way. Your imagery is only surpassed by the metaphors.

Beautiful write Sandy, maybe I should do the same, acrostics are a good way to prod inspiration, but alas...I'm stuck. Glad to see a romantic write, nice for a change!

they do help...i do some other small forms sometimes to aid inspiration but acrostics you pick any word... big or small and write.... i hope you find inspiration soon... Thank you John...and hugs

Sigh ~ This one touches the reader in all of the right places, soft as a kiss, warm as spring and beautiful as the love that must have inspired this. I like what Tom said and I agree, romance is your middle name.

Thank you Chris...although i often write sad... romance comes through sometimes...i could never be on of the best on this site you already reign at the top...truth be told my muse didn't want to write...i scribbled the word down the side of the paper and forced her to... glad you enjoyed it... hugs
