Notes About The Poem

Your Kindness

Your kindness falls
Across my smile
Lifting my dreams
Higher than high

Your kindness breathes
Inspiration and light
Across my longings
My hopes and promises

Your kindness colors
My heart in bright hues
Of insight and laughter
Assurance of God’s goodness

Your kindness dances
Like the sun and moon
With a light so bright
It silences all sadness

Your kindness whispers
Caressing my thoughts
In laughter so alive
Joy pours over me

Your kindness sings
Tunes of grace and peace
Lingering on my ear
In hope that is in rhythm with me

Your kindness kisses
My naked inspirations
Filling me with appreciation
Blessings felt all over creation

Your kindness welcomes
Me to believe and be
So much in love with you
That I feel like poetry

Your kindness brings
Me so much hope and faith
And a sincere love that is
Like a star shimmering praise

Your kindness guides
Me toward tenderness
Where I feel a part of me
Is embraced by your sincerity

Thank you, dear – for your heart
Which is so very kind and a part of the reason
I know that our love will always bring freedom
To be who I am, your wife, your best friend!
