Your Hungry Glance

your hungry glance
pulls me in
like a snake hypnotizes
a small mouse
and I can't escape it
I could let you
devour me and even
if it hurts I want
to feed you
like the look when
the eyes of the gazelle
and tiger meet
and the breath slows
and adrenaline pours
into the body
and the heart beats
as a drum
before a sacrifice
your hungry glance
