Your Heading For the Curb!

Years ago, not yesterday When I was dumb and young I lost the man and children I love A new life had begun I forgave us For all we did wrong Accepted the consequences Tried to move on Memories were making my heart weep Evidence of them everywhere Put the worst of it all in the trash To the curb it went from there I found myself letting go Of the things that made me cry To this day your heading to the curb My love, good-bye Even the things that make me love you Pictures, a letter, notebooks too They're heading for the trash Since I will never have love from you It takes alot of courage To call me after years had past I can't imagine your pain and hate But , my forgiveness you'll always have If you decide to listen To what I have to say Please feel free to walk with me Hand in hand...anytime...any day I know you inside and out I cannot judge for what is done But I can tell you everything is at the curb Waiting for the trashman in the hot sun.
