Your Gut
Your gut is your gift given at birth which
your future and destiny will depend on
This requires learning to listen to it
which will take lots of practice but
you will learn from it as we all have
but you must believe. Remember,
this a self preserving, life sustaining gift
to be respected and tended to, listened to.
Like Guardian Angels, you can't see them
but you KNOW they are around.
Two lifelong allies to redirect when
misdirected and hasten ones' untimely demise.
Your gut is awake and alert and ready
to send soft signals causing minor uneasiness
when something, or someone, is a bit amiss,
OR, sound an ear piercing alarm when harm
or danger is imminent and urgent. This gift will guide
direct, protect you, with as much to lose as you.
It knows you intimately, in and out. Perhaps this
gut gift can be likened to a compass, a life compass
directing decisions, responses, reactions, actions, future.
You will learn from it after lots of practice
then you will listen for it, trust it, seek its' opinion
be grateful for the guidance from your God given birth gift,
your moral compass, YOUR GUT.
