Your Grip Is Eternal

Your Grip is Eternal
How your strong hands
Have a choking grip on me,
Gripping me so tight,
Strangling me so
I can hardly see.

Your teeth gnash and
Shred my skin
Until it bleeds.

Thoughts of you
Have me tossing
Around restlessly
In my bed sheets.

You power over my
Soul makes me
Feel so weak.
My fear of you
Causes me to tremble
Whenever you speak.

Only when you die,
Will I find true relief.
Yet even then,
I’ll wonder about your
Ghost haunting me,
As I also grieve.

My fear for you is eternal,
Perhaps it will never leave.
