Your Greatest Gift
Love is faithful.
Love is kind.
Look in the bible
that's where you'll find.
The chapter on love
that I'm talking about.
Love rejoices in the truth.
Love never met doubt.
Love is beautiful
if you know what I mean.
Open up your bibles
to 1 Corinthians 13.
Love is patient.
Love can't forget.
Love is forgiveness
without any regret.
If I sold everything that I owned
just to feed the poor.
Or had knowledge and wisdom.
Knew all mysteries and more
If I could move great mountains
so majestically tall
and I didn't have love
I would have nothing at all.
Love is long suffering.
Love will survive.
Love is the substance that keeps
your spirit alive.
When I was a child
I did not understand.
No longer a child
I have become a man.
I have put aside foolish things
that a child might do.
I love You Lord.
I do this for you.
God You made us in your image.
The gift of life alone is enough.
But out of all the Blessings we received.
Your greatest gift was love.
