We all, each one, have a gift to share
A gift from heaven, from God
Calling to us from our deepest prayer
A talent from His heart, His grace
A knack for giving back something so rare
It is like we are genius, offering
Joy, hope, peace beyond compare
We all, each on, have a gift designed
To be shared with everyone,
To be given, without remorse, to spellbind
The gentle spirit, the heart and soul
Of those who know that we have signed
A contract with heaven, a vow
To give our ability to the love defined
We all, each one, have a gift of grace
Poured out from God onto our hearts
So that we can always delight to embrace
The heart and soul of those who know
We are giving and will never erase
The wonders of His power, His light
Raining down on us a love to showcase
We all, each one, have a gift of life
To give back to the world all we have
Be it good deeds, artful things, midwife
We can share our gifts with others
Who need to feel the comfort from strife
That comes from believing and achieving
The way to share the promise of the afterlife
We all, each one, have a gift of love
Granted by the Creator who brings us
Each one of us the joy from up above
Reminding us that we are given the chance
To spend our lives with hope undreamed of
Because we’re given the gifts He gives
Even though we might be unworthy of
We all, each one, have the gift He has given
And it is my prayer it is for God we’ll be living
