Your Free

O ~ mighty eagle outstretch wings and fly
Let thy wind beneath wings lift and soar
I stand salute freedom and begin to sigh

Feathers of sweet purity
Claws and beaks of razor edging
I watch a far your maturity

Encircling heavenly domain
Snowcapped peaks valleys and bends
This essence simply can drive to o insane

Illuminated as her morning dawn
Escape my feathered friend
Oh let me capture what I've drawn

Her magesty which moveth across the broaden sky
O ~ in stealth fashion there she sails high

These are, indeed, majestic birds, Katherine. Our national bird springs to life in your beautifully penned poem! Love, Carolyn
