Your Flame

Don’t you want to be saved from fear?

I won’t let you go into the flames of destruction

Don’t you want to live our life in cheer?

I shouldn’t worry the way I do or I won’t function


You are the best flame in the fearless sun

You can change your mind in the sunny rays

You are the satisfaction of countless fun

You can always seek forgiveness these days


You could be hot or you could be cold

You could act young and pretty innocent 

Or a finely matured, good-natured old

You are struggling like a walking infant

You are the kindling fire of desire untouched

You are a serene, shimmering sight tonight

You are a kind, sacred prayer that is hushed

You are a peaceable, earnest person of might


So lost, roaming around for a few hours

To take the many aches and pains away temporarily

Once found, roving into a bed of flowers

I have been feeling numb and deserted remarkably


You are the best flame in the fearless sun

You can change your mind in the sunny rays

You are the satisfaction of countless fun

You can always seek forgiveness these days


You could be hot or you could be cold

You could act young and pretty innocent 

Or a finely matured, good-natured old

You are struggling like a walking infant

You are the kindling fire of desire untouched

You are a serene, shimmering sight tonight

You are a kind, sacred prayer that is hushed

You are a peaceable, earnest person of might


You are an elegant, authentic amber, 

Hidden in plain sight underneath everyone

You are the only help I need to nurture

You are the best flame in the fearless sun

I wish for you to show off your shine

War and chaos will wither away suddenly

Commotion and confusion will leave finally

Tears will be replaced with hopeful cheers 

We will be positive people ear to ear 

Happiness will be spread year by year, 

Wiping away all remaining fears 

With your flames…
