Your Finest Moment

Imagine your finest moment ever Can you remember what you said? Don't make it something tawdry, Like what you accomplished in bed Be remembered for a stellar occasion When you rose to your highest self, And did something worth remembering Like the trophy you put on your shelf. You can always point to it with pride And say you reached a pinnacle sublime In fact you can try to repeat it again, Your finest moment, if only in a rhyme.

Oh, I'm certain you have many. About ten years ago I wrote my autobiography. The neat part about it was that I got to recall the really wonderful times in my life. There are lots of bummers in there, too. Think about what could be your finest moment and write a poem about it.
