Your Eyes

Your eyes are like a window, I can see right to your soul.. I can see the many scars, where you were forced to pay life's toll.. Your eyes they are quite useless, when your mind is blind.. And it's hard to win the race , by looking far behind.. Your eyes they seem to glisten , as they smile and wink at me.. They dispel all my desperation, and set my mind to poetry.. Your eyes they tell your story, and I can read it well.. so if we lock eyes at a party. Know your story, I will tell..

It means Beautiful mountain valley In Irish Gaelic. I never knew what that second N was for anyway.. It would be so cool if I could say the same but your the first Andrea I ever met ..lol :)

This poem is great! there really is truth to eyes being windows to the soul. I've caught myself sharing gazes of familiarity with people that I can't even begin to explain. Not awkward, not out of place.. just to look back and forth at each other and find a natural link somehow. well wrote! thanks for sharing. 7+++ from me
