Your Eyes
Your eyes are like a window,
I can see right to your soul..
I can see the many scars,
where you were forced to pay life's toll..
Your eyes they are quite useless,
when your mind is blind..
And it's hard to win the race ,
by looking far behind..
Your eyes they seem to glisten ,
as they smile and wink at me..
They dispel all my desperation,
and set my mind to poetry..
Your eyes they tell your story,
and I can read it well..
so if we lock eyes at a party.
Know your story, I will tell..
