Your Eyes
In the depth of your eyes, so dark and smoky
I saw in one glance, the entire cosmos and got lost in this oblivion
With the power of my vision so precise and accurate
I did see our state as fallen...fallen in ecstatic love and bliss
This was exactly a decade ago, on this particular date and month
Is our separation to be marked by an anniversary?
Should it be so, ours would be a sad anniversary, filled with cries and tears
For our paths are well meant to remain poles apart, such is our decree!
