Your eyes

The Sun dances with the Moon,

The Moon sings with the Stars,

The Stars that play with the Sparkle,

The Sparkle that resides in your eyes.

A shade of rich, sun-warmed earth,

Deep as mahogany, soft as honeyed tea,

Holding a quiet, golden light

That shines for no one else to see.

Like sunlight caught in amber glow,

Or oak leaves turned in early fall,

There’s a universe hidden in that brown,

The gentlest magic of it all.

When the light hits them just right,

The shadows soften, warm and clear,

And every galaxy in the sky

Feels closer when those eyes are near.
