Your Call

Remember in your troubled times why you’re here.
Remember that there were good times before you disappear.
Remember the love of your life might not yet be next to you.
Remember when you’re dead starlight won’t see you.

It’s hard when dreams smash like glass.
It’s hard when promises made crumble apart.
It’s hard when the world changes and you stand still.
It’s hard when the people you love go beyond any pill.

Remember no one ever said life will be easy and free.
Remember you have a mind and that is your life currency.
It sometimes will only be down to you.
But you have the strength of a thousand oak trees soaring through you.

Remember because I tried to end it too.
I found the love of my life months after that do.
Now life makes sense but yet sense plays the fool.
Remember your human life owns the skies of your days and nights, the stars way up high, the sun, the moon in your time but this life doesn’t and never will owe you.
