Your Brain

04/03/2020

Did you ever find a time you couldn't do
All of the things in your brain you had planned
Instead you find time for feeling so blue
Or being present, no time to renew
feeling like a stranger in a strange land.

You try so hard to keep it straight your brain
The things in life that mean the most to you
walking in puddles a day in the rain
watching yourself even though it’s in vain
since being alive shouldn't be something new.
