Your Beloved Joey

May these words I write
Upon your loss
Inspire hope
The kind he brought

His light that shone
For you and me
Became brighter
For us to see

But then his
Childlike innocence
Was needed in Heaven
Therefore he went

So now whenever
His love is embraced
We’ll see
Your beloved Joey’s face
