Your Absence

hear me call your name a hushed love song on the breeze spring becomes summer sun beams cause blistering pain and shine light on your absence

Sometimes those steamy spring romances end with summer's "blistering pain," Rhonda. It's when the sun is out that I feel most alone. Tanka is one of my favorite poems and you have a beauty here! Love, Carolyn
