Your Absence

While I wait allow me to wander Even without your consent I’ll push the doors wider Lend me your hands to brew This disaster cider So later we don’t blame each other When the outcome is bitter I promise not to be fair When I stroke regrets hair So you feel good for not being there I promise to be so soft like fur When I take my strides It’s gonna be a memory only with my heart I’ll share They say we should take the good with the bad Now I’ll take being your bed spread My fault it is as the air was speaking Nothing, my ears heard
