Stop what you're doing
Don't lift that blade
Stop what you're doing
Don't move, just stop.
For one single moment
Hear me out
Listen to my voice
It's you, it's me from further on
I'm you
And I want you to know
It's okay
It's going to be okay,
It's going to get better
Wipe the tears away
And take my hand
Trust me as I tell you
That it's silly things you're worried about
You've lost those friends
But you make more
You've done badly
But you'll do better
You get to that place
That seems so far away
And you become happy
You become content with those who have left
And you fall in love
And even if it feels like a lie,
You're loved
You're happy
You're smiling
And those miserable days
Lessen ever so slightly
Because the people you've kept
Make you feel okay to be you
And you become so happy with yourself
That you begin to love who you are
