Young Love Lost
Tears were shed for you,
A heart was broken and destroyed.
Time went on and I never heard from you.
Never did we turn back to see what could have been.
Years have passed and we are different now
You have your life and I have mine.
The memories are strong and the times were good.
I’ll never forget the way it felt laying in your arms.
But I am not sure I can forget about the feelings I had for you.
You were my first love and something like that never fades.
So maybe it is best that we go our separate ways..
