Young and Confused

People say what they want to say,
How can their words no go away?
No consideration at all for me,
Why can't the world just let me be?

They said I'm young enough to have a choice
But old enough to forget my voice.
Why did I waste my youth for a wish of age?
All I got now is my heart's rage.

This isn't what I expected in life,
How can it turn on me as a sharp knife?
Now reality laughs at me as my heart bleeds,
I'm human too, swallowed by my own greed.

How wasteful of life to live in despair,
But this life got no chance of repair.
A reality sadly exist like this,
Can I still blow for a different wish??
