You Write Poetry

YOU write poetry?
Shocked face.
Never being fond of this one in any way,
I nod a teensy bit.
I am sure she disbelieves me.
I have never been overly kind or friendly toward her.
And I am not the flowery, moonbeam, lace and roses type.
She says it again. Emphasizing the YOU.
I pretend to smile.
