You Will Live Forever and You Will Die Forever
You Will Live Forever and You Will Die Forever
People ask me if there's life after death in amber crystal light,
I tell them yes there is and death after life in the circle without ending,
life before death floating like mercury through air and through again in flight,
continuing forever—you've already lived and died in the cosmos of sighing bending.
Heaven and hell are here on Earth in our hearts carved from jade stone,
it depends on you in which one you choose to dwell like butterfly or moth,
heaven is living in hopes that burn like flames without degree or zone,
hell is living in fears like a statue of ice in eternity's frozen cloth.
The problem is that people confuse heaven with hell in clear confusion bright,
speakers describe hell as if they spoke of heaven with tongues of blazing fire,
they say "you've reached maturity take the challenge that your country demands tonight,"
and if that's not infernal sound then it's a note from hell's eternal choir.
When I hear the word maturity spoken with veneration of cold stone's weight,
I don't know whether to laugh like a madman or fall sick with cosmic longing,
the myth circulates that adults catch on magically but truth grows and penetrates late,
they're just tall children who forgot how to play beneath sky's eternal belonging.
When they tell you to grow up it really means stop growing from this moment here,
because as long as you're growing you change unpredictably free like the wandering wind,
the person in growth is not an easy target for those who want the soul's lost sphere,
but an uncomfortable reminder of cosmic potential dwelling in earth disciplined.
Society wants you to settle on safe plateau to root yourself like shifting sand,
to muzzle your pulse to lower the volume of the song in your living blood so red,
settle down like sand in hourglass like coffin in the earth that demands your brand,
to grow up is a crystal trap where all your dreams die hollow in the void ahead.
You have no responsibility except to be yourself at your limit of clear being's call,
to discover who you are or remember who you truly are deeply forever more,
in the secret velvet of your heart beyond all names and country's border wall,
you know who you are and that being behaves graciously with all under heaven's core.
Don't actively resist the system but ignore it leave turn your back with laughter free,
don't be indignant but scandalous don't respect authority unless it truly merits praise,
be your own authority learn the ways of wizards from the burnt and ancient century,
enter into harmony with nature listen to the rhythms of blood that throbs through all your days.
Seek beauty and poetry in everything beneath moons that know you deep and strong and true,
refuse to play it safe because from the edge of risk drips liberty like mercury rain,
live dangerously with love believe in magic feed your great dreaming breaking through,
use your head even if it means losing your mind in clarity without refrain.
Learn the laws of the sun like lemon and tomato dancing in holy light divine,
become conscious like the jungle of your own perfume floating through the crystal air,
remember that life is too serious to take seriously with your broken heart's design,
so never forget how to play in gardens of unstained dream beyond despair.
You will live forever and you will die forever in the magic circle of living existence bright,
and heaven and hell are your choice in every moment flowing like cold mercury's stream,
don't stop growing don't settle in the tomb of empty maturity's blight,
but dance freely through the universe with your amber heart that doesn't perish in time's dream.
