You Were Looking For Love In All the Wrong Places

You were looking for love in all the wrong places

You were looking for love in all the wrong
places yet you
kept moving on when you were still quite young

Because you didn’t want to miss anything
more or less get involved with anyone

Because you were having way to much fun
playing
on other peoples emotions and there feelings

So you didn’t stick around to
enjoy there warm embraces

Because you were very selfish
and
such a shallow person back then

Because all you ever had was one thing on your mind

And once the deed was said and done you moved on

And now that you are older then you were way back then
when ever
you go out carousing all you see is a room full of empty faces

Because honestly you have simply run out
of second chances
for any kind of future romances with anyone

And that’s why you are such a lonely person

Because you just didn’t give a damn when you were young
