You Went Away

Dearest beloved.
Light of my life.
Since we have parted.
I live in strife.

You did not say.
Why you went away.
Left me grieving.
Night and day.

There is no other.
Can there be.
To take your place.
As my family.

Your beauty.
Forever will be.
In my mind, eternally.

All the things.
You said and did.
Do they mean nothing.
Did you just kid?

How is it possible.
To love so.
And then, off you go.

Have you feelings?
Like I have for you.
I cannot live without you.
That is plain, to see.
Another chance.
Do I plea.
