You Took My Soul
Stranded in this spooky town
Floor is crackling cold
Under my feet cause
You took my soul
I placed one single rose
In your hands made of glass
All I wanted was for you to
Hold it gently
And be careful as to not drop it
But you was clumsy
You released the whispers
Of my breath
Now I'm drivin by the fever
In my chest
Showing no mercy
Open up your eyes
You bleed me dry
Skies are winking at me
I see a storm bubbling
from the deep blue sea
YOU shimmy-shook my world
LEAVING me stranded all in love
On my own
For its a race under the moon
Feels so good but I'm old
TEN thousand years of chasing
Taking its toll
Do you see me now
I'm smarter then I let people believe"
Hidden behind the fragments of what All" I let you see "
Standing on a distance bay
Beneath cloudy skies
I promise to stay out your way.
