You Told Me

You told me once we would always be friends,
again I find that your words are the thorns
on the rose brush which cause me pain and
make me bleed.

It's so nice to know I am moving on without you.
I told you what I thought you got mad so I guess
the truth hurts but someone had to bring you down
off your high horse.

Your a man who play women like cards in a poker
game, all you care about is the fact you win every time.
With me you thought you had won but you didn't I let
you think you did.

I am so glad I moved on losing sleep over you was a
waste of time I see that now you taught me just because
he smiles pretty, his words are kind ,does not mean he
is the right one for you.
