You Think You Know Me
You think you know me—
a river that runs deep.
I am an ocean, you fool,
a sailor’s retreat.
You think you know me;
I’ll let you in on this:
you only know an iota;
I am pure bliss.
You think you know me
by the light of the moon;
we needed more time—
you left too soon.
You think you know me;
I laugh; you don’t.
Our fun was but a second;
you bailed; now run.
