You talk in your sleep; well blubber
Who is this Elaine now revealed
Under our marriage covers snubber
Lies turned to truth as her name squealed
Many facts decoded in bed
Jumbled messages like knitting yarn
tangled, needle trapped in thread
Honest contemplation do charn?
Churn no more when life has better
Talk all you want about your lover
There are faithful who'll unfetter
And let good life rediscover
Charn is a dialect word for the word churn.
For those that don't know, people used
to pour day old milk into a vessel made
of clay and painted which had a lid with
a wooded paddle..They added some
buttermilk to it and let it sit until it
clabbered then churned the milk with
the wooded paddle to separate the butter
from the milk creating buttermilk plus
butter..
