You Spoke

I TREMBLED WHEN YOU SAID I'M BEAUTIFUL
COULD WE LEAVE THIS PLACE, RUN AWAY...
ONLY US FACE TO FACE
ASK ME TO SLOWLY KISS AWAY
CARESS MY THOUGHTS
FRANTIC LOVE EXPLODE BENEATH TWO BODYS
A GRINDING SYMPHONY
I NEED HIM THIS EMPTY MOMENT
RAW RAIN TAKES MY FACE
SAD YOUR TIME WITH ME IS GONE
PLEASE CRUSH MY ACHE AND AGONY
I TREMBLED WHEN YOU SAID I'M BEAUTIFUL

As a man, i will not lie and say we do have a way of getting what we want so i agree with Caroline but not all men are bad but as Carolyn says we must safeguard our hearts. Wonderful piece.

There is a great deal of passion in this write. The sadness we feel when a relationship ends can cause us to tremble the next time someone says, "You're beautiful." Safeguard your heart, Jenifer, but open it to one who is sincere. Love, Carolyn

I can understand. Many men know how to get what they want. A sad poem, but well written. You know, you don't need a man to tell you you are beautiful. You are because you are God's daughter, simple as that. There's someone out there who will love you because of who you are. Thanks for sharing. Caroline.
