You Should Be a Fan Dancer
You should be a fan dancer said Gypsy Rose Lee.
This would cure you of your shyness, you see.
Owl’s hearing was not great, he heard fern instead of fan.
I think I could dance with this fern, he said, “I am the man!”
So he hid behind the fern, and he danced to a tune.
He was encouraged by stars, woods, and an April moon.
You are right, he told Gypsy Rose Lee, so glad for your advice.
And he danced down the path through the tulips so nice.
