You Said No

When I got down on one knee
And gave you my ring 
I meant forever 
 Now all I got 
Is my ring 
And a broken heart
Because you said No
I loved you
I thought you was the one
But come to find out your the one who 
Was going to hurt me
You made my heart hurt when you say those words
Take them back cause you know you don't mean them
I never thought this day would come
Where you would say No.

Gwendolen Song August 11, 2011 at 8:00 PM Kristina, This is terribly sad that someone led you to believe they cared so deeply only to let you down. Poetry is like medicine to the soul. Keep that pen movin. Will be lookin for more of your work in the near future.
