You Remind Me of Love and You Remind Me of Pain
Like a nocturnal creature I lie awake, with every passing moment waiting for the day to break!
Feeling at peace with the activities around, 'tis a solace that during the day I don't feel bound!!
The sun rays bring me hope and they bring me light, they take me away from the person who haunts my being in the night...
I feel in shackles and I feel in pain when despite my efforts I just can't stop you from intruding my mind all over again!
I look at your picture and I see your face, can't take my eyes off that gleeful gaze...
You remind me of Sunflowers and you remind me of Rain but at the same time your face brings back the pain...
The pain that tore me apart, the pain that wore my heart, the pain that hardened my faith though it was meant to break!!
The day is easy as it goes by, with it's lovely colors which is a distraction to the eye...
As the dusk approaches my heart begins to sink and I begin to feel low. You are coming and I have no choice but to bow...
To bow to your whims and beg you to go, asking you to leave me in peace and wanting to let go!!
Clutching to my hopes and whimpering like a child, as if begging for a toy she so can't get off her mind!
It's easy to find you in your pictures and easier to frame you in words, because knowing you otherwise brings no joy but only hurts...
You can't stop the flood of emotions nor can you barricade my love, time has given it wings and it's gonna soar like a dove!!
It was my love that pulled you to me and gave me the moments I treasure in my heart; that too was nothing but a mere dream in the start...
If it was a dream that brought you to me then, it's gonna be a dream which will manifest itself all over again..!!!
