Toquyen Harrell Poet Free verse

You Or God

Do you think you are more capable than God?
Do you tell God what to do?
I do
I do it all the time
And He always catches me up on it 
Why is that my friend? 
Why do we always want God to do what we wanted? 
And not the other way around?
Why do we think we are so special?  haha
We are
But we are not competent
Yes I said it
We are not the know it all 
and do it all 
like He is
We don't know zitwat about anything
Yeah that's my word
And that will describe you
And me haha
We don't know anything
And we think we do
Ha when do we ever learn?
Probably never
That's what God is there for
That's why God is not listening to us 
That's why we are safe from our destruction - for now haha
due to the grace of God
So don't think and don't say 
We know it all 
Or God will let us take care of our own business 
and say heck with you
Would God say that? 
Ha I hate to find out
Would you? 
Anyway habits are hard to break
As long as we know we are not the decider
We are okay
It's when we think we are the one
Who makes and breaks 
That's when we get in trouble
We don't make and break nothing
God does
And until we know that 
We are going to twirl our fingers 
and tell God what to do
Lol let's see how that goes
