You Opened Your Heart and Put Me In

You opened your heart and put me in
You love and cared for me
With my flows and imperfections
You cared less of what I have and don't
Cared less of my race
and ugly scars on my face
You opened your heart and put me in
Loved me with my miseries
Loved me when I was happy or in pain
Loved me when there was a sun or rain
Loved me now and again
Yesterday, today, tomorrow, day by day
Cared less of what people say
but loved me in a special kind of way
Your love for me moved mountains
Made Jerusalem walls to fall
Made me to always stare at my phone like crazy
and wait for thy phone call
It didn't matter whether you're short and I'm tall
My only joy was that unconditional love
My only joy was you loving me for who I am
My only joy was you opening your heart for me and put me in.
