You Met the Horizon In My Eyes

The gentle breezes blew through me
Swirling my silent thoughts
Into the whirlpools of Time
Where you had a dream of me
My voice whispered your name
It's notes warm in your heart
But the wind whipped my sound away
And blew my spirit to the trees
You felt my breath in the wavering air
It teased and flicked your hair
And you inhaled my forest scent
You felt my longing when the ocean called
And the tides crested and yearned for the moon
You felt my moods in the gathering storms
My faith in the unfolding bloom
Looking far out into vast stretches
You met the horizon in my eyes
And felt me softly dawning
In your heart.

Thank you for your generous comment Silent One! At the end of it all... is life just one big illusion? I frequently ponder this....
