You Make Me Feel
You make me feel like a kid again
That sense of adventure and wonder
The seemingly endless surprises
Your the lightning to my thunder
You make me feel like a teenager again
That giddy new crush feeling
With my girlish yelps and jumps for joy
When I feel broken, you are my healing
You make me feel like myself again
No longer looking at life with despair
The long worn frown turned upside down
When my lungs feel empty, your the filling air
You have made me feel loved again
And cuased love for you to grow in me
Made me face my fears and made me smile
To my sandy shores, you are my sea.
