You Love Me To the Heel of My Blues
you love me to the heel of my blues
every step i struggle on, you are my support
at times i feel as if i do not deserve you
however you shush that away and inspire me to keep on living
there is a storm on the other side of personal perfection
when the lightning strikes, the ashes and the burns continue to blister
amongst the bandages and the dressings lay you with a calm smile and a soothing joke
though i remain in pain, the healing is easier to deal with
you love me to the heel of my blues
each time i falter, you are the hoist that lifts me back up
at times i feel inferior to the magnificence of your majestic being
however you shoo that away and provide me with additional strength by just being you
