You Left Me Breathless
You left me breathless,
When you walked away,
You stole the air straight from my lungs,
When you broke my heart that day.
You left me breathless,
When your words were spoken,
You drowned me on dry land,
When your promise to me was broken.
You left me breathless,
When you did what you said you wouldn’t do,
Your words choked me,
Until I turned blue.
