You Knew

Red and puffy my eyes is,
Still I can't seem to fight it,
These tears I pour out are pain,
I'm the one to blame,
My shame I no longer can hide
it,
These scars are every mark of
my death to be,
My poem is what is left of my
sanity,
I'm fighting myself for you,
You win and I lose,
I knew because your eyes told
me:

"Im disgusting,
Im not worthy of your love,
I should just give up,
I'll be a man and do what I
feel,
Bring you down and won't give
a care."

And it hurts,
I've put all my trust in you,
I deserve better,
Look at what you've put me
through,
And you knew,
You knew,
You knew....
