You Have Hurt Me In a Loving Way

You know I love you right?
You know that even though we can't see 
each other when we want to, but our hearts
do see each other right?

These were the questions I used to ask you
I was so much in love with you
In such a way that a day without you 
would actually mean insomnia and nightmares for me

You have always told me that you like our relationship
That enjoyed having what we had and wished it lasted 
forever
When I asked you if you love me you never said yes
But our conversations could tell that you did love me

I could see that you wanted you wanted me to try harder
But unfortunately I couldn't do more than that
Sometimes I wished you could say you loved me too
So that I could love you harder that before, but I had hope

Until you told me that you love him
I thought I was dreaming, but unfortunately I wasn't
You did really say you love him and that broke me
You've hurt me in a loving way
