You Have Heard It Said

I have heard it said
That it is easy for a man
To find some one to be compatible with.
Why?  Because females outnumber males?
Or because so many women make themselves
Fit with several different types of men?

Still, that doesn't make his choice easy.

Have you heard it said
That it is easy for a man 
To love more than one woman at the same time?
Why?  For the thrill and glory of new conquests?
Or for fear of true commitment and dedication
That brings the knitting of intimacy?

Still, that doesn't make his choice any easier.

You have heard it said
That it is not easy to find a man
Good and decent; who can be faithful to you?
Is it because men are just unfaithful by nature?
Or because it takes someone good to find someone good?
So, is it better to stick with yourself?

You see... the choice is still not the easiest.
