YOU GOTTA HAVE SHOES TO RUN THIS RACE

While walking on this worldly plain...
You needs much to contain
Your views our just yours
You need some Love of God
for when the gravel road is rough
for when the glass is broken what else
for when the mud slides
you need some foot protection...
you got to have shoes to run this race
Here's why there's thorns in the road nails and broken glass
On the trails
If you want your feet protected
You better put on Jesus sandals
You got to have shoes to run this race
Mercy Lord so your feet won't slip
and then you fall on your face
While walking on this worldly plain...
You needs much to contain
