You Did It, You Rascal
You Did It, You Rascal
By Elton Camp
The captain was asleep in his bunk
When the berg was hit with a thunk
His trust was put in the wrong place
Now, it’s he who the music must face
Though he didn’t know a thing about it
There are those who loudly doubt it
“Although another was at the wheel
She knew very well how you’d feel.”
“That an iceberg the ship to strike
Is the very thing you would like.”
It put the captain’s reputation on the line
Why would he think such would be fine?
Company president he wanted to become
Would he approve a thing that dumb?
He spends too much time at the table
But to call him stupid, who is able?
