when men act like mice
           who really makes their choice 
               yeah ~ that other voice

Conscience can be very strange and semi-independent Caren, sometimes reason goes out the window, in place of self preservation, but that other voice can be so called friends, gaslighting manipulators, influencing controlling our opinions and choices, not wanting to fall out of favor with them, we can become mice, nothing religious in this apart from the title I borrowed from the conscience of Peter, cheers David
