You Can'T
You can't make someone like what they don't like
You can't make something right when normally it
wouldn't suffice.
You can't prevent feelings that just won't go away.
You can't move on unless your heart doesn't want to stay.
You can't lose something that you've never had.
You can't stop the emptiness you feel every time you take a glance.
There are a lot of things that you can't stop, hinder or prevent.
But you can hold their hand and even though it's not
what you may want you can be their friend.
