You Can Stop Running Now

You Can Stop Running Now Where did you go, were you chasing him, too. Did he call out your name, did you follow him through? Did you catch him this time, as he ran across the street, leaving your burdens, and your worries at his feet? You spent your whole life hoping for another chance, did you again run to save him, was this all perchance. The irony of it all is too much to bear, did you see him ahead, was he standing there? Did you run with arms open, or was it just fate, was it true what they say, that heaven couldn't wait? Were you surprised as you stood at His throne, was He there greeting you, so you weren't alone. Your burden is lifted, no more running to be done, your adventure has ended, a new one begun! Rest now in the arms of Our Father, who hears, no more sorrow for you, just joy and no tears.
